Joey Herrick, founder, and CEO of Lucy Pet Products in Westlake Village, Calif., has purchased breeder’s Choice Pet Foods, a manufacturer of specialty super-premium dry dog and cat foods.

The new Breeder’s Choice Pet Foods, LLC is a privately held ownership group of Southern California businesspeople led by Herrick and Rick Rockhill, COO of Lucy Pet Products, and a former executive at Natural Balance and Petco. The group also includes Los Angeles Dodger legend Orel Hershiser, Spanish Dodger baseball broadcast team Jaime Jarrin and his son Jorge Jarrin, Frank Koch, a former executive with Nature’s Recipe and Natural Balance, and Rick Taylor, former Breeder’s Choice president and son of the original owner.

Special dog cutout section on sale now, net proceeds to benefit Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. LOS ANGELES – Dodger fans and dog owners can now purchase a Los Angeles Dodgers Fan Cutout for their dog. With over 4,500 fan cutouts sold so far, the Los Angeles Dodgers will launch Pups at the Park presented by Lucy Pet Foods, a special section just for its four-legged fans. For $149, fans can include their dogs in Loge sections 143 and 145. Net proceeds from the sale of cutouts will benefit the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation.

Westlake Village resident Joey Herrick has taken his concerns about pet overpopulation to the streets. Herrick is the founder of the Lucy Pet Foundation, a nonprofit organization that operates a mobile pet neutering clinic for low-income residents in Los Angeles. He founded Lucy Pet in 2013 as a way to serve the community by reducing the number of unwanted pets.
