Warm Weather Shipping
We recommend that pet food be stored in a cool, dry place in your home. However, our pet food products remain safe in short-term storage and transit even at temperatures in excess of 100 F.
Especially during summer months, be sure to keep pet food bags sealed tightly to keep out pests and humidity. We also recommend inspecting food for the normal visual appearance and aroma prior to feeding. If you have questions, please contact our customer care representatives.

When you order directly from the Lucy Pet website:
We ship directly from our temperature-controlled warehouse within 24 business hours from when you place your order. Orders placed on Friday after 3 pm PT will generally ship the following Monday.
We ship orders via UPS or USPS.

When ordering from a third-party website:
Please be aware that we can’t control the temperature of the shipping carriers’ warehouses and vehicles in the summer months. You may wish to inquire with the third party how they maintain and store food during warmer months.
